Linda Kosseh was born & raised in Sierra Leone to a housewife mother, not by choice but the traditional value system toward marriage. Her struggles peaked after the death of Linda’s father. Caring for several children was a “climbing the wall” point in her mother’s life & those ordeals became Linda’s inspiration. She vowed that no matter what circumstance may be, she would breathe - a breath of fresh air. Linda, in turn, encouraged her mother through her own hard work & optimism while striving for her own success. Linda had an innate love & interest for nursing. She joined her husband, confidant, & soul mate here, & enrolled at P.I.T. in the Practical Nursing program. She decided to take the bull by the horn & pursue her own happiness through academic empowerment. Linda credits her husband for keeping her on track during her program by encouraging her to work hard & succeed so that she can fulfill her own dreams. Upon graduation, Linda intends to transfer her credits into an RN or BSN program. Linda is still narrowing her choice of 4-year college/university. Family-oriented, Linda loves to spend time with daughter & husband, watch movies, shop, & cook.
