Parent Pathways Scholarship
The Parent Pathways Scholarship supports Pennsylvania Institute of Technology student parents who are nearing graduation and working to create a brighter future for themselves and their children.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
- Be a Pennsylvania resident
- Be currently enrolled full-time at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology
- Be the parent or legal guardian of at least one biological child age 18 or younger
- Be within the final year of completing a certificate, diploma, or degree program
- Be in good academic standing
- Have unmet financial need after other aid is applied
- Submit a completed scholarship application
- Submit a personal essay (500–750 words) describing their journey as a student parent, challenges overcome, and future goals
- Complete a one-on-one meeting with the Parenting Student Success Coach
Recipient Requirement:
Scholarship recipients must submit a thank-you letter within 30 days of receiving scholarship funds. The letter should describe what the scholarship means to them and how it will support their educational and career goals. Please send the letter to Scholarships@pit.edu.
